Candidates can look forward to report writing, industry trend reporting, regular client contact, a role in business development and proposal writing/methodology creation, and a

  • Analyst / Sr. Analyst will be part of Research Division of Mergen Advisory and will be responsible for delivering in depth research and analysis on developments in Infrastructure & Energy Sector;
  • Conduct Market analysis, competitive bench marking and opportunity assessments through in depth primary and secondary research;
  • Work towards deadlines and deliver quality outputs within timeline;
  • Develop Thought Leadership, Point of Views, Industry Newsletters, and white papers;
  • Deliver quick turn around Research on Demand projects;
  • Act as subject matter expert on different forums and regularly contribute to different journals / news analysis;
  • Creating reports & Gathering Data
  • Analyzing Data and understanding results
  • Arranging client coordination

What we are looking for:

  • Ideal candidates would have an engineering degree with an MBA;
  • Proficiency with MS word, excel and PowerPoint;
  • Candidate looking to join a start-up in its early stages and share in the rewards of building an institution;
  • Prior experience of writing reports, point of view, and creating client presentations is a must;
  • Candidates with good understanding and work experience in research or consulting in the Energy & Utility or Infrastructure sector will be preferred
  • The individual should have a deep understanding of any of the domain pertaining to Energy, Utility, Metals / Mining , Infrastructure – overall industry dynamics, issues, typical challenges faced by clients and an appreciation of operational aspects of the sector;
  • Great interpersonal communication skills;
  • Keen eye for spotting data trends;
  • Great analytical skills;
  • Professional demeanor;
  • Personal accountability and strong work ethic;
  • Positive, “can do” attitude.
